This might appear to be my first post for this year, but it isn’t. However, I’ve lost the few posts I did make since December 2011 as my website was attacked and had the DNS rerouted. My host company haven’t been very forthcoming about the problem, and are most probably loath to admit any blame for fear of being sued. Suffice to say thay claim to have backed up my website regularly but didn’t have any web analysis stats from Dec 2011. Oh, and 5 months of email also got lost.
I have since learnt how to do my own back up (simply clicking the correct button does it) – and as I have always got my desktop files backed up, I should perhaps have been more vigilant with the online ones too.
