SugarSync works in Linux

I ended my last post by stating: It is a real pity that SugarSync doesn’t have a Linux client …

True – there is no Linux client, but it DOES work in Linux. There is a Microsoft Windows emulator for Linux called WINE that you can use to install Windows exe files. So I downloaded the SugarSync.exe file and used WINE to install it. After the initial installation it seems to lack a few features like the folders that you expect! But, hey, it is a Microsoft product, so check out the difference after you reboot the PC. Everything is in place.

Those familiar with Linux Mint 15 Matte version may recognise the applications menu at the bottom left of the picture.
