I went to the Pages link in the new blog I had created on Blogger.com and created 3 new pages. Clicked on the View blog button and saw … no pages. Ah, silly me. Of course, I had forgotten to select the setting whether the Pages were to be tabs on the top or links at the side. Not the the first time I had forgotten to do this. Easily fixed.
No, that wasn’t the problem – the setting to choose tab or side link was no longer there. Was my browser at fault? Temporary glitch in Blogger.com? I googled new pages won’t show up in Blogger.com and was assured that the way to make them appear was indeed by selecting the correct setting in Pages.
So I dug around a bit more and looked at the previous blogs that did have tabbed pages. When I checked the Layout view, I could see that there was a separate section called Pages that seemed to be a gadget. Yes, when I searched the gadgets, I found one called Pages – solution found!
Old way:
New way:
1. Go to Layout –> Add a Gadget (Just below the header – if you want tabbed pages at the top. Choose to put the gadget elsewhere if you don’t want them at the top)
2. Select Pages gadget:
3. Select title and page order.
4. Save.
Anyone know when exactly this change took place?
